This site lists SOME of the thousands of descendants of Thomas and 
Martha Carrier of Andover, Mass. I've also included my maternal ancestors
and was surprised to see the interesting connections that pop up back in 
the 1600's and 1700's. 

One of my ancestors Anne Dudley/Bradstreet had a son Dudley who was a 
justice of the peace in Andover during the witchcraft trials. Dudley 
interrogated my ancestor Thomas Jr. and his sister Sarah. 
Dudley eventually had doubts about the procedures and was himself 
accused of witchcraft and had to flee.

I've know since childhood about my ancestor Martha being accused of being a 
witch but never heard about the "other" executed witch in my family tree. 
Rebecca/Steele/Elson/Mudge was executed in Hartford Conn. in 1663.

I'm still looking for the other skeletons in my closet.
